Altough I believe in the right of revolution, I do not believe that revolution should be lightly taken as an everyday occurrance. Many loose their lives in revolution.

Our government was established so that revolution wouldn't have to happen. Indidividuals and groups have right to appeal to governemnt about their grievances.

The things going on in Egypt make one understand that revolution is not something that one wants, values, or desires. What one should want is stability, security and peace!

And if we continue to strive and learn and accept 'All men (meaning PEOPLE)' then maybe the ending to the pledge can be true.

L. Long,
In a perfect world, we could. But, we unfortunately accept ideologies that are anti-American, intolerant, and we undermine life, in general!! We cannot compromise our culture for radical, fundamentalist law that undermines our ideals (People NOT God sanctioned religious law)....

Humanists might not see the importance of putting principle first, but it is Very important, because some that believe in such ideology believe that any means of attaining their ends of control of the globe is good, sanctioned and supported in their value system!
