Good Recent American Enlightenment Scholarship

John Fea recommends here. I'm especially interested in Mark Noll's book.

Ruth here. Grandad and I have been watching the television, each one of us for an hour or so each day. This past week, we've been observing the traditional way, in which "the people" of the United States publicly put to rest their memories of those who have died during the past year. Words (names) are important here. We especially appreciate those who set the names into books of history.

I'd like to give Joseph Waligore a big "shout out" and thank you for all of his revisionist Enlightenment scholarship on the web.

JMS: Agreed. Waligore's stuff is great.
