If you wander over to the American Freethought website for Podcast 158, you'll have a chance to listen to John C. Snider, David Driscoll, and Michael Meyerson discussing the author's book, Endowed by Our Creator: The Birth of Religious Freedom in America. Sadly, there's no colorful everchanging display to watch while listening to the discussion.

Listening, I was glad rather than sad to only hear the brilliance of Michael's words. I was struck by his attitude about the people only telling half truths, especially in politics and about his "what if" proposition that everybody is right. I realized how confusing the truth can be when IT is accompanied by pictures, especially moving pictures, that arouse our prejudices.

I wish I knew what he said.
A 6/20/12 Jim Cullen review of Meyerson's book is a vailable over at the History News Network. This gives you another picture of what Meyerson had to say.
The bottom line for Cullen is, "It [speaking of the book] should be, and, with the aid of divine providence, is likely to be, durable."

have bookmarked it and I am looking forward to reading new articles.
