The REAL Christian Nation National Anthem

With all due respect to fellow blogger Tom Van Dyke, I believe I have found a more appropriate "national anthem" for the "Christian Nation." It comes from Pastor Scott Wesley Brown (website for the song can be found by clicking here), which has the same sort or ring as Francis Scott Key!!!

Thanks to fellow blogger Brad Hart who has brought up a lot of the issues mentioned in the song. I too special note of the "changing of history" comment made in the song. Quite true, quite true!

Oh my living hell! Yep, typical Evangelical nonsense. Good call Lindsey.

It has that that same stupid rythem and beat as most stupid Christian rock songs.

Yupper, that "changing of history" comment was quite something.

Good song. Not as good as the Battle Hymn of the Republic, though.

When America Is Not America AnymoreBaby when you're all grow up
And I am dead and gone
The things my father fought for
To make this country strong
Will just be faded memories
Like the lines of some old song
From a time when right was right
And wrong was wrong

Baby when you're all grown up
And our colors have been blurred
The stars and stripes forgotten
And our language seldom heard

Oh I can see the signs now
And hear the voices to my left
The wisdom of our founders
They have chosen to reject
But baby please remember
What this country's really for
When America is not America anymore…….

Baby when you're all grown up
And the history has been changed
Rewritten by the tyrants
Who say we're the ones to blame
For believing in a vision
That all men were created free
And for trusting in a God
Who sheds His grace on thee

Baby when you're all grown up
I pray you'll understand
The dream that heroes died to keep
Was once a sovereign land

But I can see the signs now
And hear the voices to my left
The wisdom of our founders
They have chosen to reject
But baby please remember
What this country's really for
When America is not America anymore…..
