I Am Not Jonathan Rowe!

[Note: I wouldn't normally publish this at American Creation; but in case any casual readers are under this misimpression...:]

I'm Jonathan Rowe! This is what you get when you combine two different people into one. There is a more prominent established writer named Jonathan Rowe with whom folks commonly confuse me. I actually got paid $500 or so to write an article -- never published -- under the mistaken impression that I was him. The publisher never admitted this or returned my email when I asked when my article would be published, but I'm almost certain this was the reason. If you look at the top of my http://jonrowe.blogspot.com website you see that I self identify as a libertarian. The other guy is the furthest thing from a libertarian. That alone should give folks a heads up. I'd much rather folks confuse me with this Jonathan Rowe.

I have heard that Barack Obama held a professorship of law at the University of Chicago for ten years and, that if he is elected, will be the most informed president on the Constitution since the Founding era.
.
It would be interesting to read a well informed article on this subject of great importance.
.
Does anyone have anything to offer?

Not me, Phil. If I were to write my thoughts on the subject, I would pervert the Founding intention of this here blog. Who wants to be a pervert?

Jonathan, you're much cuter than the muscle-bound Jonathan Rowe. And much more principled than the ACLU Jonathan Rowe who is willing to allow me my free exercise of religion, as long as I exercise it in private. Nice of him to allow me that much.

I like my Jonathan Rowe the best.

Actually, Tom, I thought an article could be presented that spoke to the comparison of the Founding Era sense of the Constitution and what one of the candidates for president has as his sense. I have heard that Obama's views are comparable to the Founders.

???

Seems such an article would fit in with the purposes of this blog site.

If Obama views the constitution in any way similar to my Con. Law professors, the resulting doctrine would not be any where close to this blog. Since, Obama doesn't have much of a written record to examine, in terms of published articles, it would be difficult to prove your assumption. Either way, be careful what you wish for.
