Those who cite Romans 13 in opposition to "rebellion to tyrants" cannot consistently apply their argument to all of the uprisings recorded in the Old Testament. They are forced to resort to a collection of ad hoc corrections and even then there are some instances which I have yet to hear them address such as the praise that Deborah recorded of Jael.
