My thoughts on this frame of discussion are on record in that I think it less than the ideal frame to discussion the impact of Christianity on our founding. <br /><br />With that said, these discussions do have some merit and if it is going discussed you most certainly provide balance that most do not. <br /><br />I am just not sure what soteriology has to do with political theory? Whether Locke or the Founders were "Christian" or not does not have any relevance to whether the ideas the used were. <br /><br />Now if the discussion is if rational Christian political theory is legitimately Christian political theory then I think that is very relevant.
